Walnut Hills Hike

  • Green Man Park 770 East McMillan Street Cincinnati, Ohio, 45206 United States (map)

About

Walk through the many layers of Walnut Hills, a neighborhood shaped by abolition, Black history, migration, commerce, creativity, and change. Beginning with landmarks like the Harriet Beecher Stowe House and moving through Peebles Corner, we will explore the streets, buildings, and community stories that have made the neighborhood an important center of Cincinnati life.

Along the way, we will remember places that have been lost, celebrate the landmarks and traditions that remain, and look closely at what is taking shape today. Through history, art, culture, local businesses, and neighborhood voices, this walk considers how Walnut Hills continues to honor its past while imagining what comes next.

Terrain & Landscape

We’ll walk on Sidewalks, Grass, Brick Alleys, and Vacant Lots.

The hike explores the Walnut Hills area.
