Difficulty - Moderate

This will be a relatively flat hike compared to other urban ranger experiences, but we’re going to cover a large area and we’ll be walking at a fast pace.

Terrain & Landscape

Sidewalks, City Steps, and Woodland Paths.

The hike features the Northside neighborhood and Buttercup Valley Preserve.

We will start promptly at 10:00 am from Dangerbird Espresso in the courtyard adjacent to Growing Trade Pet & Plant (3840 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). Together we’ll wander around Northside’s eclectic streets and navigate through an urban nature preserve.

What to Bring

Bring your own water, sunscreen, comfortable closed-toe shoes, and positive energy.
