City steps, sidewalks, grassy hillsides, unkept pedestrian pathways.
Join us as we hike through the places of Cincinnati’s basin hillsides - some beautiful, some strange, some forgotten. Meet outside of Deeper Roots Coffee in Over-the-Rhine. The hike will start promptly at 1 pm. Together we’ll get personal with the basin’s topography, enjoy great vistas of the cityscape, and share a laugh or two. Hopefully, a few of us will also break a sweat!
This event is capped at 20 participants.
What to Bring
Bring your own water, sunscreen, comfortable close-toed shoes, a face mask, and positive energy.

Items may be purchased after the hike. Cash or Venmo payment is preferred.
COVID-19 Safety
Participants are required to wear a mask for the duration of the Hike. The face mask you wear must be worn correctly, per CDC guidelines - cover your nose, mouth, and chin. Participants may step aside and remove their face masks if needed during the hike. If you do not have a proper face mask with you, UR will provide one.
We will try our best to practice social distance during the hike. CDC guidelines encourage 6’ in between people.
