Difficulty: Medium to Hard Intensity - many hills and steps, possible debris on path.
Our hillsides are a unique aspect of life in the Queen City. Even when anticipated, vistas of our city ignite a sense of pride and wonder within us. On this hike we’ll examine the vertical places once spotted with lush vineyards, incredible inclines, beer brewing tunnels, and the remains of ethnic enclaves.
This hike incorporates poorly maintained and ruins of pedestrian paths and stairs. Wear closed-toe footwear appropriate for dirt paths with debris. Make sure to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat if needed.
We will meet on the back patio at Iris Book Cafe (1331 Main Street) in Over-the-Rhine. The hike will be a loop, ending somewhere in the Main Street business district in Over-the-Rhine.
